The world’s GCC ecosystem.
GCCPROs is an independent platform for the people who build, run and join Global Capability Centres. We verify 4,641 GCCs across 44 countries, run a peer council of working GCC leaders, publish original research, offer practitioner-led advisory and convene the GCC Leadership Summit. GCCPROs is a Chartered Times LLP initiative, based in Pune.

Advisory

Leadership
Shammi Prabhakar Singh, Founder
Shammi Prabhakar Singh founded GCCPROs. He is a chartered accountant and has built Global Capability Centres across India and the Philippines. He signed GCCPROs’ partnership with the Uttar Pradesh State Transformation Commission in July 2026 and moderated the talent panel at the Pune summit in August 2026.
How the numbers are built
Every centre is verified individually, with up to 46 fields per centre. A GCC with offices in more than one city is counted in each of those cities; every city, region and country total counts each GCC only once.
Every figure on this site comes from one source: the live database. A nightly job rebuilds the atlas, the city pages and every number quoted on every page from it, and will not publish if any page disagrees. When you read a GCC count here, it matches the database as of the date shown. How many GCCs are there in India?
How we work
GCCPROs sits between companies building centres and the people who run them. That only works if each side can see where our interests lie.
The advisory work is vendor-neutral. It is delivered by practitioners who have built and run Global Capability Centres, rather than by career consultants, and we do not resell the technology, property or staffing that a recommendation might point towards.
The GCC Industry Council is non-commercial and employer-neutral. It is a peer body of leaders in full-time GCC roles, not a membership scheme for suppliers, and it is complimentary for serving leaders.
The summits are closed-door and vendor-free. The point of the format is that people say what is not working, which does not happen when somebody in the room is selling.
The database is described in full on the GCC database page. Every centre is checked individually rather than scraped in bulk, each record carries a confidence level, and corrections are reviewed before they are published. If you believe a record is wrong, write to us and we will look at it.
Who uses GCCPROs
Companies planning or scaling a Global Capability Centre. Service providers selling into GCCs. Investors and advisers sizing the market. State investment-promotion agencies, including the Uttar Pradesh State Transformation Commission, with whom GCCPROs signed a Memorandum of Understanding in July 2026 to accelerate GCC growth across the state, beginning with Noida, Greater Noida and Lucknow. It is on the public record in the Commission’s office orders and the signed MoU is published in full (PDF). And GCC leaders themselves, benchmarking their centre against their peers.
Journalists and analysts are welcome to quote the published figures with attribution and a link. The counts, city breakdowns and sector splits on this site are free to read and free to cite.
