What is in the GCC database?
4,641 verified Global Capability Centres across 44 countries, 2,533 of them in India, with up to 46 fields on each: location, parent company, industry, the work the centre runs, headcount band, maturity, year established and named leadership. It is the largest verified GCC dataset we know of, and it is rebuilt from the live database every night.
The database is the source for every number published on this site. The GCC India Atlas, the six city pages, the research and the answer to how many GCCs there are in India are all generated from it, so they cannot drift apart.

How many GCCs are in the GCCPROs database?
4,641 verified Global Capability Centres across 44 countries, of which 2,533 are in India. The count is rebuilt from the live database every night, so the figure on this page always matches the data behind it. How the India figure compares with other published counts.
What information is held on each GCC?
Up to 46 fields per centre: parent company and group, country, city and office addresses, industry, the domains the centre runs, headcount band, year established, maturity generation, legal structure and setup model, and named leadership where it is on the public record.
How is the data verified?
Every centre is checked individually rather than scraped in bulk. A GCC with offices in more than one city is counted in each of those cities; every city, region and country total counts each GCC only once, so totals never double-count. Each record carries a confidence level, and corrections are reviewed before they are published.
How often is it updated?
Continuously, and the whole site is rebuilt from it nightly. The figures on this page were last refreshed on 6 October 2026.

Which countries are covered?
44 countries. India is the largest at 2,533 centres, followed by the Philippines, Mexico, Poland and Romania. The rest of the world accounts for the remainder of the 4,641 total.
